- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, blueberries, water, sugar, and lemon juice. Gently toss until all the fruit is evenly coated. Set aside for about 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar using a hand mixer until smooth. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined. Add vanilla extract.
- Begin by layering half of the angel food cake cubes at the bottom of your trifle dish. Spoon half of the fruit mixture over the cake layer. Top with half of the cream mixture. Repeat these layers again with remaining ingredients.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let flavors meld. Serve chilled for a delightful dessert experience!
