  • Β½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • Β½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cans Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • Β½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, brown the ground turkey until fully cooked.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and add the diced onion, celery, and carrots; cook until softened.
  3. Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add tomato paste, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, and black pepper; mix well.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and Great Northern beans; bring to a simmer for about 7 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and spinach, cooking until spinach wilts.
  7. Serve warm in bowls garnished with chopped parsley.
