  • 1 ยฝ teaspoon chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder or 1 small square of dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat with vegetable oil. Brown the ground beef along with diced onions and minced garlic for about 10 minutes until golden.
  2. Transfer the browned mixture to your slow cooker. Add chopped tomatoes, mixed beans, beef stock, celery, and spices including chili powder and smoked paprika.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
