- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (15 oz) red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 can (15 oz) cannellini beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 cup ditalini pasta (or any small pasta)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Brown the chicken sausage before adding diced onion, carrots, celery, and minced garlic. Sauté until vegetables are tender.
