  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, brown the beef cubes on all sides for about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sautรฉ chopped onion, minced garlic, diced carrots, and celery until softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. Return the browned beef to the pot and add diced tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, rosemary, thyme, and oregano. Mix well.
  4. Cover with a lid and bake in a preheated oven at 325ยฐF (160ยฐC) for approximately 2 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving with crusty bread or over rice.
