Instructions

  1. Wash the tomatoes and basil thoroughly. Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds.
  2. Halve the avocados, remove the pits, scoop out the flesh, and slice.
  3. On a serving platter, alternate layers of tomato slices and avocado slices. Tuck fresh basil leaves between them.
  4. Drizzle olive oil generously over the salad.
  5. Sprinkle balsamic vinegar on top.
