- 1/4 cup Sour cream (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk (room temperature)
- 4 oz Cream cheese (room temperature)
- 2 TBSP White granulated sugar
- 1 tsp All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, melted butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
- Gradually combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, blend cream cheese with sugar, flour, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fill muffin cups halfway with pumpkin batter; add one tablespoon of cream cheese filling in the center and cover with more batter until three-quarters full.
- Bake for about 14 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
