- 10 dashes Maggi liquid seasoning (or 2 teaspoons salt)
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Β½ teaspoon cumin
- Β½ red bell pepper (sliced thin)
- Β½ green bell pepper (sliced thin)
- Β½ red onion (sliced thin)
- 3 bay leaves
- 1β2 cups water
- Freshly chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flank steak with cilantro, sofrito, garlic, one tablespoon of oil, Maggi seasoning, chicken bouillon seasoning, oregano, black pepper, and cumin. Mix well and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Heat the remaining oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add marinated steak and sautΓ© for about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour enough water into the pot to cover the meat completely. Add bay leaves and stir occasionally while cooking until the water reduces by half.
