  • 1 4-ounce can mandarin oranges (drained)
  • ΒΌ cup cilantro leaves (roughly chopped)
  • β…“ cup teriyaki sauce (the thicker, the better!)
  • β…“ cup rice apple vinegar (may sub apple cider vinegar)
  • Β½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Β½ teaspoon onion powder (if you have it)
  • ΒΌ teaspoon salt
  • ΒΌ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Β½ cup oil (such as vegetable oil, canola oil, olive oil)

Instructions

  1. Cook 8 ounces of bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a jar, combine β…“ cup teriyaki sauce, β…“ cup rice apple vinegar, Β½ teaspoon garlic powder, Β½ teaspoon onion powder, ΒΌ teaspoon salt, ΒΌ teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon sugar, and Β½ cup oil. Shake well and chill.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta with 4 cups spinach leaves, Β½ cup craisins, β…“ cup pine nuts (or cashews), and a drained can of mandarin oranges.
  4. Just before serving, drizzle the chilled dressing over the salad and toss gently.
