Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef shoulder or butt roast

- Sriracha to taste
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Place the trimmed beef roast in the slow cooker.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, and sriracha.
- Pour the sauce over the beef ensuring it's well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.
- Remove the beef and shred it using forks.
- Create a slurry with cornstarch and water; stir into the remaining sauce in the slow cooker and cook on high for another 15-30 minutes until thickened.
