- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (114g) sour cream, room temperature
- 6 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a 9Γ13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and light brown sugar until smooth. Add molasses, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk flour and spices together before gradually adding to the wet mixture until combined. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until set; let cool slightly.
