  • 1 1/3 cup  couscous
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  2. Add the  couscous to the saucepan, stirring continuously for about 1 minute to lightly toast.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer until all liquid is absorbed (approximately 10-12 minutes).
  5. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper; add red pepper flakes if desired.
