  • 4 cups (32 ounces) chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 ounces plain cream cheese
  • Green onion (for garnish)
  • Cheddar cheese (for garnish)
  • Sour cream (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Remove casings from chicken sausage and brown in a skillet until fully cooked.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine the browned sausage with great northern beans, corn, diced tomatoes, pumpkin puree, chicken stock, and spices. Stir well.
