- 1.5 tbsp gochujang
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 cup reserved noodle water
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp gochugaru
- Chopped green onion for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the udon noodles in boiling water according to package instructions. Reserve 0.5 cup of noodle water, then drain and rinse the noodles.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Sautรฉ the garlic and shallots until fragrant.
- Stir in the gochujang and cook briefly until combined.
- Gradually add heavy cream and reserved noodle water; stir in soy sauce and gochugaru until well mixed. Let simmer until thickened.
