- 200g fettuccine or linguine
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200ml heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 250g shrimp, peeled & deveined
- Salt, pepper, paprika to taste
- Steamed broccoli
- 2 slices garlic toast
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. SautΓ© shrimp seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt another tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and sautΓ© until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes before stirring in parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing until well coated. Combine with sautΓ©ed shrimp.
- Serve immediately with steamed broccoli and garlic toast.
