Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning, for sauce
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ยฝ cup of cooking water.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sear seasoned steak tips for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter, sautรฉ minced garlic, then add heavy cream, whole milk, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and 1 tsp of Cajun seasoning. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Toss cooked penne in the sauce and return the steak to combine.
- Serve hot garnished with fresh parsley.
