  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter over medium heat until it turns a rich amber color. Chill until slightly thickened.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (180ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon.
  4. In another bowl, mix cooled brown butter and dark brown sugar until clumpy. Add egg yolk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree; mix until smooth.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture gently until combined.
