Ingredients
- 320 g ready rolled puff pastry
- 400 g beef sausages
- 100 g apple sauce
- 20 g dried apples
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 egg (beaten) for topping
- 1 tsp sesame seeds for sprinkling
- ½ tsp dried thyme for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (fan-assisted) or 210°C (non-fan). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the beef sausages (casings removed), apple sauce, dried apples, thyme, and sea salt. Mix thoroughly.
- Cut the puff pastry in half lengthwise and place one portion of the filling along the center of each strip.
- Brush one edge of the pastry with beaten egg, then roll tightly over the filling until sealed.
- Cut into desired lengths and arrange on the prepared tray.
- Brush each roll with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds and thyme on top.
